While you’re in town, make a day of it with a visit to Cotton Hills Farm, a beloved fall destination for families across the region. Pick your perfect pumpkin, get lost in the corn maze, hop on a hayride, and snap seasonal photos among the autumn backdrop. Don’t forget to treat yourself to fresh apple cider slushies and fresh finds!

Location: Downtown Chester
Downtown Chester invites you to celebrate the season with the Fall in Love with Downtown Chester shopping event. From Thursday through Saturday, local shops and vendors will offer special discounts, sidewalk sales, and seasonal promotions during regular business hours (Thursday and Friday 10 a.m.–6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.–4 p.m.).
On Thursday and Friday, enjoy street vendors and sidewalk shopping throughout downtown. The celebration continues Saturday with a pop-up market behind The Rainbow Rooster Boutique and a food truck, making it the perfect weekend to shop, stroll, and support local businesses in Chester.

Location: Fort Lawn Community Center
Fort Lawn welcomes the season with its Fall Festival on October 10–11, 2025 at the Fort Lawn Community Center. This community tradition features arts and crafts, live music, delicious food, and a classic car show. Families can enjoy hayrides and children’s activities while exploring local vendors and small businesses.

Location: Downtown Great Falls
Great Falls Home Town Association welcomes the season with its Fall Pop-Up Market on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Downtown Great Falls, SC. This community gathering showcases local artisans, crafters, food vendors, and live music. Organizers are currently seeking vendors and food trucks to be part of the event, making it a great opportunity for small businesses to get involved.
Shoppers can browse unique handmade goods, enjoy seasonal treats, and connect with local makers in a lively outdoor setting. Families will also find children’s activities and plenty of ways to celebrate autumn together.

Location: Joe Collins Stadium
The HILLarity Festival takes place on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Joe Collins Stadium in Chester and is one of the community’s signature events. It brings together local businesses, vendors, and performers for a day filled with live entertainment, shopping, food trucks, and family activities.
This year’s festival will feature a car show at 10 a.m., a clothing drive and giveaway, a senior and veteran appreciation corner, and free health screenings. Families can enjoy professional face painting, a roving bubble performer, a magician with a live bunny, a balloon artist, and horse-and-carriage rides. Activities also include pumpkin bowling, arts and crafts, and a breast cancer awareness booth offering free hygiene care packages.
Live entertainment will keep the energy high all day, including a performance by the Chester Blues Jazz Gospel Band and a live dance team showcase. The Chester Farmers Market will also be on site with fresh produce and local goods.

Location: Richburg Town Park
Join the Town of Richburg for a day of community fun at the Richburg Fall Festival! Enjoy live music featuring DJ Wild Stylez (10 AM – 12 PM) and The Oneppo Brothers (12 PM – 2 PM). Stroll through craft and food vendors, let the kids enjoy games and amusements, and don’t miss the Classic Car Show presented by Master’s Car Club.
Proceeds from the Car Show will benefit The Fort Lawn Community & Great Falls (GRASP) Food Pantries.
